  • Digital City, Inc. (Joint Venture: AOL/Tribune Co.) – Business Development Director. Managed and expanded content, social media, and vendor relations for a regionally-focused site serving 500,000 Bay Area subscribers.
  • America Online – Director, Women’s Programming. Recruited by AOL President to design and launch the first AOL Women’s Channel as a value-add for over 7 million female subscribers. Hired and managed staff, spearheaded content and design development, and managed social media, events, and marketing campaigns.
  • Women.com, Founder, and Vice-President.  Co-founder of the first commercial, women-focused website. Directed a hugely successful brand-building campaign including $60 million in public relations, media and marketing, and vendor and content relationships. Spearheaded social media development. Received a grant from the California Public Utilities Commission to teach computer skills to 50 California non-profit agencies serving low-income women of color.  Selected by Fortune Magazine as one of “Coolest High-Tech Companies”. The company was later acquired by Hearst New Media.
  • Whole Earth ‘Lectronic Link (The WELL) – Project Manager. Designed and managed business development strategies, technical documentation, and domestic/international customer relations for the legendary pioneering online community.
  • The Farm Clinic, Summertown, Tennessee – EMT, Medic & Birth Doula. Served as a medic in a rural clinic, providing emergency medical care, hospital and infirmary care and support, and prenatal, birthing, and postnatal care.
  • Akwesasne Mohawk Reservation, New York – EMT class co-instructor. Co-taught NY State certified Emergency Medical Technician training and licensure classes for tribal members on the Akwesasne reservation in upstate NY.
